Leopold Turns 2!

That's right, yesterday my beautiful boy celebrated 2 years Earthside. I cannot believe how fast it has gone. It seems like just yesterday I was holding him in my arms for the first time and now he fills every day with gorgeous, and often aggravating, toddler behaviour :)

He is such a little gem. The most gentle soul who shows more empathy and understanding than most adults I know. Leo constantly struggles with overcoming his sensory 'issues' (that are becoming more and more prevalent the older he gets), but he never fails to make me smile. He has taught me patience, how to let the little things go, how to enjoy being a kid again and endless love.
I feel so blessed to even know such a special boy, let alone be able to call him my son.

We had a lovely couple of days as a family, going to the zoo on Thursday and then spending Friday (his actual birthday) enjoying a lazy day at home...with lots of presents and chocolate!
